Mother's Day Bouquet Brooch workshop

Service Description

Make your own beautiful floral brooch (or magnet, or pendant - your choice)! During the workshop, you will learn woven wheel stitch as well as a some other basic hand embroidery stitches and create your very own hoop bouquet. Ideal for beginners and advanced stitchers alike we will initially work in a larger embroidery hoop before cutting out your work and framing it in the smaller laser cut craft hoop. There will be a selection of sizes and shapes on offer, and you should be able to make two hoops each (depending on your stitching speed) which can then be turned into brooches, pendants or magnets. Included in the workshop are: All fabrics (backing fabric, felt and printed cottons), embroidery threads, glue, craft hoops and butterfly brooch backs/magnets/pendant loops. Please bring with you if you can: Sewing tools/aids you are comfortable with, including a selection of embroidery needles and a small pair of fabric/embroidery scissors. Don't forget your lunch!
