Evening of Pottery - Handbuilding

Service Description

This is a workshop suitable for all levels over the age of 16. You will have an introduction to the studio and equipment available. Beginners will be shown everything they need to get started from how to begin hand building, join clay and experiment with surface decoration. We will provide inspiration or feel free to bring your own ideas. Everything you need is provided from aprons to tea and coffee and light refreshments. At the end of the session you can choose the pieces you would like to keep and we will then glaze them in a colour of your choice. Or you may wish to book a studio space on another day to come and continue creating or to have the chance to glaze them yourself. These will be fired and can be picked up approximately 4 weeks after the session. If required we can also arrange postage. Please note that there will be an addition charge for this to cover the postage and packaging, depending on size and weight.
